On February 15th, Shen Jai Confucius Institute successfully held a Lantern Festival-themed event: “Making Lion Dance Lanterns”.
The event venue was filled with a festive and warm atmosphere. The teacher gave a wonderful cultural lecture, explaining the origin, development, and cultural connotations of the Lantern Festival, as well as the types, production techniques, and symbolic meanings of lanterns. The participants were deeply immersed in it. After the lecture, the much-anticipated lion dance lantern-making experience session began. The participants sat around, and under the guidance of the teacher, after an hour and a half of concentrated work, they made various and colorful lion dance lanterns.
Shen Jai Confucius Institute transmitted the traditional charm of the Lantern Festival and the intangible cultural heritage charm of lantern-making to the participants, who took away not only a beautiful handicraft but also an unforgettable cultural experience.
2 月 15 日，深斋孔子学院成功举办 “醒狮灯笼制作” 元宵节主题活动。活动现场喜庆温馨，徐倩老师带来精彩文化讲座，讲解元宵节起源、发展、内涵，以及灯笼种类、制作工艺和象征意义，学员们沉浸其中。讲座后，醒狮灯笼制作体验环节开启，学员们围坐，在老师指导下，历经一个半小时，制作出形态各异、色彩绚丽的醒狮灯笼。此次活动，深斋孔子学院将元宵节传统韵味与灯笼制作非遗魅力传递给参与者，学员们带着亲手制作的灯笼，收获难忘文化体验。
