On May 28, Shen Jai Confucius Institute visited SJK (C) HWA AIK to hold a Parents’ Day-themed cultural event, conveying traditional values and gratitude education through two interactive sessions. During the activities, the SJCI teachers used everyday topics to guide students in communicating in Chinese, helping them build language confidence and experience the emotional connection conveyed through the language. In the hands-on segment, lower-grade students created creative tote bags, while upper-grade students crafted tulip bouquets—both as heartfelt gifts for Parents’ Day. By integrating local celebrations, the event helped students understand the deeper meanings of filial piety and respect.
5 月 28 日，深斋孔子学院赴华益小学开展双亲节主题文化活动，通过两场活动传递传统文化与感恩教育。活动中，孔院老师以生活化话题引导学生用华语交流，提升语言自信并感受华语的情感联结作用。手工环节，低年级学生制作创意手提包，高年级学生打造 “郁金香” 花束，作品将作为双亲节礼物。此次活动融合本土节庆，让学生理解 “孝”“敬” 内涵。
